a month agoThe best truck in the neighborhood. We've been eating here for the last 5 years. The birria tacos are phenomenal. The pozole is fantastic. All the tacos and quesadillas are great. In the winter months he'll sometimes treat you to a taste of consomme or pozole broth to stay warm as you wait for your order. And beyond that, Mario and his team are so kind and accommodating.

6 months agoI got the consommé with goat and it was SO delicious! The owner was super sweet and he gave me extra corn tortillas so I could try it with both corn and flour tortillas. I will definitely be back again for this and to try other menu items!

8 months agoHidden gem and the best Mexican place in Austin. We got Menudo, Birrias and Alpastor tacos. Everything is so flavorful. Definitely will be back.

Edited 8 months ago⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, Super YUMMY, super FRESH, and I could feel it was cooked with LOVE. I was craving for quesabirria and randomly stopped here. Guys if you live nearby, it's a gem and must visit. It's empty most of the time, but not because of food, FOOD IS GREAT HERE. I'm surly gonna keep coming back.

Edited 2 years agoI heard of this place on a list of underrated food spots in Austin. And…it did not disappoint! I can’t believe I’ve been in this area so much without ever stopping. It satisfied my cravings, and went above and beyond with great flavors, perfectly cooked food, fresh produce. Not to mention the owners were extremely sweet and willing to talk us through the menu. I’ll be back here.

2 years agoCame for the birria tacos and the reviews. Honestly, so good. The owner was a very happy and helpful man. We each got the two taco platter with consume to dip in. This was our first time having birria tacos, so I'm unsure how they compare, but they were very delicious. The soup had a surprising (in a good way) amount of meat in it. Everything was made fresh and came out piping hot, the cheese melt was perfect.
